Remaining healthy has always been important for me and I have realized that it does not come easily. Working for long hours on the computer and not getting enough sleep have been issues that I could not ignore any longer. That is when I decided to pull myself together and pay more attention to my body and mind. I make it a point to go to the gym at least four times a week.
Working out not only keeps me healthy but it also improves me self worth and esteem. I also make it a point I avoid frequent intake of alcohol and carbonated drinks. The problem with alcohol is that it strips all the minerals and vitamins from our bodies and leaves it dry, dehydrated, and malnourished. I enjoy eating fruits and hence, I eat all kinds of fruits depending on the season.
Music helps me relax, and is excessively better than the over-rated meditation techniques that charlatans have marketed for so long. Music has a healing power that soothes mind, calms nerves, and improves respiration. I make it a point to play the right kind of music while working out. Working out well, eating well, and socializing with friends keeps me mentally and physically fit and healthy.
